ARE YOU ELIGIBLE FOR GRANT FUNDED UPGRADES TO YOUR HOME ?
Paradigm Energy Performance Ltd has an aim to make Britain's homes greener, more energy efficient and cheaper to run.
Our Home Energy Performance Report is designed to give you a plan to make a real difference to the environment, and ultimately to your back pocket !!!
Over the phone consultation. Simply provide some basic information on your home & we can tell you how to save energy.
Home visit for survey completion. We will contact you to organise a survey, you may also be entitled to Free Grants.
We will produce a Home Energy Performance Report that outlines measures that you can take to improve the energy efficiency of your home and reduce bills.
Working with our expert partner organisations, we will then provide advice on the most cost effective way to implement any measures - this may include grant funding (subject to eligibility)
This is known as a whole house plan and ensures that any changes made are completed in a joined-up way, considering the junctions between measures and thinking about the potential impact of works on each other and the whole home
Paradigm Energy Performance Ltd is a PAS 2035 and Trustmark accredited company which enables us to offer advice on energy efficiency measures and free or subsidized grants to our customers on the government backed ECO scheme.
Our advisors are qualified through City and Guilds to provide expert advice on energy saving measures.
Our team can provide Energy Performance Certificates and Retrofit Assessments to establish what upgrades can be made to your home and the savings they will generate for you.
TrustMark is a Government-endorsed sign of consumer protection for home improvements, repairs, renewable energy installations and low energy retrofits that are designed to make your home more comfortable and cheaper to run.
TrustMark is attained by a reputable business after it can prove to a certifying body (i.e. Certification schemes or Trade Associations) that it has all the right competences and consumer protections in place.
TrustMark’s requirements relate to all the business’s work and all its employees, as it is the business which is TrustMark registered, not just the work.
The Customer Charter sets out the rights and responsibilities of any customer receiving advice, installations, products, services or other work carried out by any business which carries the Government-endorsed TrustMark quality mark.
If your home is eligible for grant or subsidised funding, we will produce a FREE Home Energy Performance Report.
This will outline the measures that can be taken to improve the energy efficiency of your home and the savings you will benefit from.
If it is proposed that multiple retrofit measures will be required, a more in-depth occupancy assessment may be required.
This will look closely at how many people live in the property and how they use it, e.g. how many hours they are typically in the property, how many baths/showers they have per day, etc.
Our reports will consider how much of the energy your property produces is actually kept inside the home.
Homes in the U.K. are among the worst for insulation in Europe, which means it takes more energy to keep them warm.
Incorrectly installed insulation can also produce cold and/or damp spots within the building fabric. So therefore inspecting inside the cavity is vital using a boroscope to access the cavity.
Insulating your loft space is also a very simple but effective way to minimise the unnecessary and costly loss of heat from your home.
We will review all of these measures and provide suitable advice in our Home Energy Performance Reports
While it's important to make sure your property is better insulated to retain more heat, it's just as important to make sure it can breathe.
Balancing improved insulation with better ventilation is a delicate job, which is often overlooked in more basic reports, and isn't included in an EPC at all. Enhanced insulation without considering ventilation just leads issues with damp and mould.
We'll consider if your property has the right sort of air bricks and door undercuts in place, and advise you on what improvements will need to be made to make air to flow more effectively.
With fuel bills rising, we'll take a close look at whether you have the most efficient boiler in place, and whether there are any other greener options you could consider.
Technology is improving all the time and we might even be able to help you source government grants to help fund some of the more expensive work. .
The Home Energy Performance Report will look at whether you're using the most energy efficient bulbs and appliances.
We will also consider measures to source or generate power in a greener way.
Installing Photovoltaic Cells (Solar Panels) could be a great way to produce your own electricity.
The initial costs may also be supported by government grants, which we'll also help you to identify and access.
Our team of experts will help you develop a clear and concise plan to:
- Improve the energy efficiency of your home
- Reduce your fuel bills
- Help to access grant funding to pay for improvements
